General terms and conditions.

ECOPAL is committed to a global policy of respecting the confidentiality of personal data entrusted to it in the context of its activity, including through the means of collection available on its website. As such, ECOPAL undertakes to use personal data in accordance with the directives of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data collection.

The following forms are available to site users: Contact In each case, the information collected through these forms is strictly minimised to the needs of understanding requests and preparing responses corresponding to the services offered. Outside this context, no information is collected. Monkoweb does not collect sensitive personal data.

Data processing.

The nature of the processing reserved for data collected from the ecopal.com website is explicitly stated on each collection page. The information communicated is not subject to any other processing apart from that indicated on the collection page of the corresponding form. ECOPAL does not carry out any automated processing or profiling of the data entrusted to it. ECOPAL does not sub-contract the processing of personal data entrusted to it.

Data retention period.

Personal data collected from this site is kept for one year. This information is provided on each page where information is collected. Personal data is deleted from our storage media no later than 12 months after the date on which it was sent to us.

Data sharing.

The personal data transmitted to us from this site is used exclusively by ECOPAL in the context of the services offered and is not transferred to third parties.

Consent.

A request for consent is associated with each page or form on the site that is likely to collect personal data. This request for consent takes the form of an ‘opt-in’ button. All requests for consent are accompanied by a statement to the effect that the user certifies that he or she is of legal age, and specifies the purposes for which the data is collected, the intended use and the length of time the information will be kept. By activating the ‘opt-in’ button on one of these forms, the user gives his or her unambiguous, free and informed consent to communicate his or her information for use strictly limited to the corresponding information. Users are also informed, and given the means to do so on the same page, that they may withdraw their consent at any time, which would result in the deletion of their personal data from the processing for which it was initially intended. Users are also informed that if the opt-in buttons are not activated, no consent will be recorded and no personal data will be transmitted.

Cookies.

The site only uses technical cookies, which are useful for its operation, and statistical cookies, which are used to assess site performance. No geolocation, profiling, advertising or third-party cookies are installed on the user’s browsing software during their session.

Security.

ECOPAL, through its ecopal.com site, and more particularly with regard to the personal data entrusted to it by its users, is very vigilant about the application of security. Data flows from users’ browsers to the ecopal.com server are protected by encryption and secured by an SSL certificate. The CMS, which powers and administers the site’s content, is subject to ongoing corrective and evolutionary maintenance to guarantee against any security flaws or problems. Finally, the data centre and server on which the site is hosted benefit from the best physical and software protection, as well as constant surveillance and monitoring. Users are informed that despite all reasonable security measures implemented, ECOPAL cannot rule out the possibility of malicious intrusion on its server which could not be thwarted. In the event of such an occurrence, ECOPAL undertakes to notify the competent authorities within a maximum of 72 hours of estimating the damage resulting from the intrusion, particularly if the violation of personal data has been established.

Exercising rights.

In the context of transparency and the procedures for exercising the rights of the person concerned, users who communicate or have communicated personal information to us are informed that they may at any time exercise their rights with regard to the personal data concerning them held by ECOPAL.
